Pasta With Gorgonzola Sauce!

untitled167Hi everybody! So I haven’t done a cooking recipe on my blog in forever. Its one of my biggest passions, and I missed cooking. This recipe is super delicious and fairly easy to make. Hope you enjoy!

What You Will Need:

Half a package of Linguine

1 tablespoon of butter

1 tablespoon of flour

2 cups of warmed milk

Half a pound of asparagus spears (trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces)

1/4 of cup of Gorgonzola Cheese

1/4 of a teaspoon of ground nutmeg

cup of ground Parmesan Cheese

2 Tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley

a pinch of pepper

Stalk of broccoli


Step One: In a large pot of boiling water cook the pasta according to the package direction. Drain the water out of the pasta and set aside. Cut up your broccoli and steam it until soft.

Step Two: For the sauce, in a large skillet melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook while stirring for about a minute. Slowly add the milk, an whisk for 5 minutes until the consistency is creamy. Add the asparagus, and bring it to a simmer. Cook it until the sauce thickens. Add in the Gorgonzola Cheese, nutmeg, and a pinch of pepper.

Step Three: Add the pasta to the sauce on the skillet and stir until combined. Cook again for another minute or just until heated through. Transfer the pasta to individual bowls depending on how many people your serving. Sprinkle with the Parmesan Cheese and parsley and if you want to add your broccoli or you cam have it on the side. Then your ready to serve!

Sweet Potato Waffles!


Hi everybody! So today I thought I’d give you guys another recipe! Today I’ll teach you guys how to make Sweet Potato Waffles. These are perfect for a healthier option to waffles in the morning. Hope you enjoy!

What You Will Need:

1 cup of mashed, cooked sweet potatoes

1 1/4 cups of low-fat butter milk

1 egg

1 tablespoon of canola oil

2 cups of low-fat pancake mix

1/4 cup of sugar

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powdered sugar (this is optional)


Step One: Preheat your waffle maker according to the directions.

Step Two: In a medium bowl combine the sweet potatoes, butter milk, the egg and the oil. In a separate bowl, whisk together the pancake mix, cinnamon, and sugar. Stir the sweet potato mixture into the dry ingredients. The batter should be fairly thick.

Step Three: Coat your waffle maker with non-stick cooking spray. Spoon your mixture into the maker and cook until crisp. Then (if you want to) sprinkle on your sugar.

Banana French Toast


Hi everybody! So today I thought I’d give you another recipe. This recipe is perfect for a Saturday or Saturday breakfast, and you can freeze it and then thaw it for a school day or a work day. Hope you enjoy!

What You Will Need:

1 cup of half-and-half whole milk

2 eggs

2 tablespoons or maple syrup

1/8 teaspoons of salt

8 slices of any bread you like

4 tablespoons of butter

4 bananas, thinly sliced

a pinch of cinnamon

additional maple syrup for topping

Step One: In a shallow bowl, whisk together the half-and-half whole milk, both eggs, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, and the salt.

Step Two: Dip bread slices in the egg mixture. Let each side soak for 30 seconds. Transfer to a baking sheet and let stand from 1-2 minutes.

Step Three: In a large non-stick skillet pan melt the butter over medium heat. Add 2 bread slices and cook each side for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and place on a plate to cool for 2 minutes. Repeat that for the rest of the bread.

Step Four: Top of each piece of toast with sliced bananas and maple syrup.

Herbed Cheese and Spinach Pizza!

untitled24Hi everybody! So today I thought I would do something a bit different, then my usual nail polish post or baking post, so today I will give you guys a cooking recipe! What You Will Need:

1 cup of ricotta cheese

2 cloves of garlic, that’s finely minced, dived into 2

1 teaspoon of dried basil

1 teaspoon of dried oregano

2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, divided into 1 teaspoon sections

4 pounds of fresh spinach leaves

1 package of Italian Mushrooms (optional)

1 full pizza crust, or if you prefer you can make your own out of pizza dough

Step One: Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step Two: In a medium sized bowl combine the ricotta, half the garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Then stir it all together until smooth.

Step Three: In a medium skillet heat up half the oil over medium-high heat. Then add in your spinach and the rest of the garlic. Then cook until slightly wilted. Then drain it out and set aside. You can now stir fry your mushrooms with some more oil.( If you want to).

Step Four: Spread your ricotta mixture over your pizza crust, leaving a generous edge for a large crust. Sprinkle on your parmesan, and brush the crust with oil. The place your spinach in a few places on each slice. After that sprinkle on a small amount of salt and pepper to add taste. You can also add stir fried mushrooms if you want to.

Step Five: Bake it for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are and golden and the cheese is melted. Let it cool for 5 minutes and then slice it into slices. Then enjoy!

Banana Bread!

imagesHi everybody! Today I wanted to do another recipe for you guys. So, today I’m going to show you guys my grandma’s banana bread recipe. Hope you enjoy!

What You Will Need:

1 cup of sugar

3 mushed bananas

3 tablespoons of melted butter

1 and 1 fourth cup of flour

1 teaspoon of baking soda

2 eggs

Step One: Mash up all of your bananas,and then add in all the butter, sugar, and eggs. Then set that aside.

Step Two: Then in a separate bowl, combine your baking soda, flour, and salt until its all mixed in.

Step Three: Then slowly combine add our dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and mix it all together.

Step Four: Preheat your oven t 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step Five: Lightly grease a baking pan, and pour your mixture into it.

Step Six: Bake in the middle of your oven, for 1 hour.

Step Seven: Then let cool for 30 minutes.
